FAQs
1. Does it hurt?
I use anaesthetics to numb the area before and during the procedure which makes the treatment pretty comfortable for you! Each client experiences pain differently, but I manage each client accordingly to keep you as pain free as possible.
2. Is it permanent?
Cosmetic tattoo (when done by a professional artist) should be semi-permanent. The longevity of your results will vary based on your skin type, health and lifestyle. On average clients come back annually for a colour refresh.
3. Am I too old for a cosmetic tattoo?
There is no age limit to permanent make-up. It’s a great option for mature clients: e.g. if you have lost your brow hairs, if the shape is hard to maintain, if you have over plucked them or don’t want to apply make-up every day. Cosmetic brows can lift all your features and make you feel and look younger.
4. Does it look fake?
All my brows are tailored to suit your goals, skin tone and facial features - from super natural results to a bolder look. Each appointment starts with a thorough consultation and I will never start your treatment without receiving your approval.
5. Am I a good candidate for cosmetic brow tattooing?
You may not be a good candidate for cosmetic brow tattooing if you have any of the following conditions:
- Taking Accutane
- Pregnant or Breastfeeding
- Vacationing after treatment - sun, sweating and swimming will affect your results. Allow 2 weeks after treatment.
- Botox - I need your muscles to be in a normal state of movement to get your perfect results. Wait a minimum of 3 weeks after Botox before getting treatment in order to allow the Botox to settle in at its full effect.
- Allergies to alcohol or numbing agents
- Under the age of 18
- Serious diseases that can affect your body’s healing process, such as cancer or autoimmune disorders e.g. hepatitis, lupus or frontal fibrosing alopecia (please consult with your doctor prior)

6. What is powder/ombre brows?
Powdering also known as Ombre involves using a machine to create a soft and natural looking brow. It gradually transitions from lighter front to a dark middle & tail from that perfect definition. This misty, powder-filled technique resembles the look of make-up application or a fresh eyebrow tint.
7. What is microblading/feathering?
Microblading also known as Feathering is a manual method with fine needles to implant colour/pigment into the skin. This treatment involves drawing each individual hair stroke onto the client’s eyebrows mimicking the natural hair growth until the desired fullness, shape & depth of colour is achieved.
8. What is combination brows?
Combination is a mixture of both the Microblading and Powder techniques. Sparse or uneven eyebrows are transformed to become defined and symmetrical, with individual hair strokes & shading.
